I teach students with personalized attention, patience, and positive encouragement, I use an upbeat approach. I highly encourage students follow the RCM curriculum and participate in festivals and exams to achieve annual goals. I also invite them to attend all studio masterclasses and recitals to share their musical experience with others.
Theory . 樂理
Rudiments, Harmony, Counterpoint, History
Theory knowledge is an essential part of learning any instrument. It is like the grammar of language. Understanding the process of harmony or the content of Music History may sometimes be overwhelming to young students especially those under the pressure to complete an exam. Talk to me about your exam goals and let us plan ahead to meet them.

Ear Training and Sight Reading
Learning music is not just about talent and interest. Those are great ways to start the musical journey but strengthening one's musicianship skills gives great asset to learning music either on the page or playing by ear. I make learning fun through a variety of engaging and outside-the-box activities to develop those skills.

All great pianists have dedicated much thought and time to perfect their piano technique. How the fingers approach the keyboard makes great difference on the tone, the range of sound, and the different colours you can get from the instrument.
